"You want rocks?" you ask, picking up some rocks
at your feet, "I'll give you rocks!" With that, you throw the first one. It hits
his head.
"Ow!" he exclaims, as his arms fly to his head to protect it. He starts
to cry.
You smile. "See how much it hurts? It's not nice to throw rocks at
people. I hope you've learned your lesson."
The kid gives you a dirty look, still crying. Just then he lets out a
skull piercing wail. You open your eyes when he's done to see him waving at
something behind you. You turn to see what it is.
It's the kid's older brother, and from a distance you can already see that
he's at least a head taller than you. "Crud..." you say, turn, and dash
off up the river.
Up ahead you see a willow tree that you could climb to hide in. You go for it.
